Portsea Tree House

A formally restrained and quiet house in Portsea based on a six metre wide curved extrusion wrapping around a stunning European ash tree to provide an ideal prospect over the property.

The long plan is taken to the maximum but then gently bent around the tree, embracing the tree as much as the tree embraces and shades the house. It is a symbiotic relationship of landscape and dwelling.
